The Hotel overlooks the Piazza Indipendenza, a beautiful square close to open markets, shopping areas and restaurants. Due to its central location the use of a car is not needed nor recommended.

Nearby is the railway station of Santa Maria Novella, the exhibition centre Polo Fieristico Fortezza da Basso, the congress hall Palazzo dei Congressa and the Stazione Leopolda, where the main displays and fairs take place.

Also, Florence airport can easily be reached by a regular bus service, or by direct train link to Pisa Airport.

The Hotel is family owned and run and is also part of a small chain of four other establishments, namely Hotel delle Tele, Hotel Genrsio, Hotel Colorado, Hotel Bavaria.
